How To Get Rid of Cold Sores On Lip Overnight

Cold sore is an unpleasant thing that always appears on the lip at the least convenient time, especially when you are going to an important meeting, vacation, or on a date.

You don’t have to stress and think about what you did to someone. In fact, you didn’t do anything wrong, because cold sore is a common phenomenon that every one of us has experienced. Instead, try the tips we will shed light on today!

How To Get Rid of Cold Sores On Lip Overnight

Cold sore on the lip is an easily transmitted viral disease that manages to spread very quickly. The easiest way to get to it is to drink or eat from dishes used by a person with a cold sore, or when kissing. So if you are in contact with someone who has cold sores on the lip, avoid kissing or drinking from the same bottle.

Yeast

Yeast is one of the cheapest and easiest methods to work perfectly on a cold sore. You can find it in almost every store and it is dirt cheap!

How to apply yeast to a cold sore? Put a little yeast in lukewarm water and stir to form a thick slurry. Then apply this “yeast porridge” to the cold sore. Let it work for a while and then wash it off with water. To achieve a perfect porridge, use a little water first. If the porridge is too thick, slowly add water until perfect consistency is obtained that does not drip from your lip.

Yeast does not smell pleasant but contains a number of vitamin B, which is very effective in treating a cold sore.

Toothpaste

If you develop cold sores on your lips, try using toothpaste. In particular, fluoride toothpaste accelerates the treatment of cold sores.

Simply apply the toothpaste to the affected area and let it dry. The cold sore dries up faster and heals. This technique is also suitable before bedtime. First, apply the toothpaste to the affected area and wait a few minutes for it to dry thoroughly. This is so that the toothpaste does not rub into the pillow.

You can use almost any toothpaste. However, what we do not recommend are whitening kinds of toothpaste with a high content of baking soda.

White yoghurt with live cultures

White yoghurt is a great way to treat cold sores. Apply yoghurt to the affected area several times a day, which helps speed up healing thanks to active microorganisms.

Yoghurt dries more slowly than toothpaste, so hold on for a while and don’t lick your lips and around your mouth.

Garlic

Garlic is nicknamed the healer in many cultures. This is because it can treat various types of diseases and can be used both internally and externally on the skin.

Chop one clove of garlic and hold it on the affected area of the haze for about ten minutes. Then rinse the affected area. You may feel a burning sensation at first, but it will stop after a while. Then, you will instantly feel relief.

This procedure is very effective but requires that you always use a new clove of garlic!

Ice

Once the cold sore appears, reach for the ice as soon as possible and place it on the cold sore. Ice relieves pain and helps shorten the healing time. Another great way is to freeze a black or green tea bag and apply it to the affected area.

Goodbye, cold sores!

Cold sores are unpleasant, not only aesthetically but also physically. They may burn or itch and may make eating uncomfortable for someone. Whatever treatment method you choose, always keep in mind that cleanliness is the number one when treating cold sores. So if you use yeast, ice, tea bags, white yoghurt or garlic, always use a new one the next day.
